Beechwood Spurtle. This kitchen tool is predominantly used for stirring porridge, but can also be used for soups, stews and broths. The primary function of a spurtle is to prevent lumps from forming in porridge simply by stirring traditionally in a clockwise direction with the right hand. Approximate length is 29cm.
