Lambswool is wool taken from the first shearing of a sheep, usually when it’s around 7 months old. The fibres are usually no longer than 50mm making them very fine and very soft . This results in a soft, breathable (and hypoallergenic) fabric which is less likely to cause skin irritation than wool.
